I’m Yuting Duan. Passionate Computer Science student with hands-on experience in website development, data analysis, and research. Currently pursuing the Computer Science Bachelor’s Degree at UC, San Diego, with plans to graduate in 2027 December.

Research Experience

1. QUICK

   An open source, GPU enabled, ab initio and density functional theory program developed by Götz lab at University of California San Diego and Merz lab at Michigan State University.

   • update installation guidance
   • add denser grids
   • develop a Python API for QUICK

2. nEXO
   • Developed object orientated Python simulation tools for the Diffusion Limited Aggregation model with a focus on visualization, performance, and reproducibility, reinforcing strong debugging and analytical skills.
   • Created technical documentation supporting reproducibility and understanding of data pipelines.
